Chinese Traditional Kung Fu (especially Shaolin Kung Fu, Meihua Quan Kung Fu and Tai Ji Kung Fu) originates from thousands of years' ancient Chinese traditional civilization. It has absorbed the essence of ancient Chinese philosophical theories from Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Iatrology and Strategies, following the principles of Tai Ji, Yin and Yang, Wu Xing (Five Elements), Ba Gua (Eight Trigrams) and Zhou Yi (the Book of Change). Practicing Chinese Traditional Kung Fu can not only help people stay in good health and gain the best self-defense techniques, but also help people learn medical treatment, develop wisdom and gain longevity.
Tashan Chinese Traditional Kung Fu Academy is an authentic Shaolin Kung Fu School and a traditional Meihua Quan Kung Fu School, unique for Meihua poles and its training which had been a secret in the past. Training on and off the different heights of Meihua Poles, students can get a favorable position in actual fighting,earn more Qi (internal energe) and improve kung fu much faster. 
The academy is located at the foot of beautiful Tashan Mountains, the northwest of Linyi, Shandong Province, China.There are two national parks around the academy, one named Tashan Park, the other named Zhidongshi Park, where students regularly visit sightseeing and train. With the peaceful campus, pleasant environment, the natural surroundings, the academy is ideal for students who aspire to learn Traditional Kung Fu in China,where all types of students from all over the world arrive to achieve this common goal and get along like a big warm family.
The Academy is an institute for teaching and spreading authentic Chinese traditional kung fu including Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun Kung Fu, Meihua Quan Kung Fu, Sanda (Chinese Kick-boxing), Qin Na (Grappling),Tai Ji (Tai Chi), Qi Gong (Chi Gong), Xing Yi, Ba Gua, Ba JI, etc. Besides this training, students have a variety of electives which are taught in the evening such as Massage, the Gua Sha Treatment, Acupuncture, Calligraphy, Chinese Musical Instruments, Mandarin and Traditional Kung Fu Theories.
Tashan Academy was founded by 34th Generation Shaolin Warrior Monk and 17th Generation Disciple of Meihua Quan Master Du (Du Shifu) . The school’s honorary headmaster is Shaolin Temple’s Head Venerable Abbot Shi Yong Xin, and the honorary director is the famous international Meihua Quan grandmaster Professor Yan Zijie.
The Academy Masters (Shi Fus) are all experienced and highly qualified Traditional Kung Fu masters who are extremely skilled in their own fields,have won so many Kung Fu competitions and participating in many Kung Fu demonstrations in China and abroad. Some notable events are (give example of which demonstrations and competitions). All of the masters are dedicated to the teaching their Students and nurturing their potential. The training is tailored according to individual and specific needs, with flexibility to help you achieve beyond your expectations. Lots of students hope that they can return and carry on further training in Tashan Academy, and feel a deep connection to their time in training and their masters for a long time. 
Different aged students with different kungfu levels are welcome to study in the Academy, no need for any special preparations before coming. To get to the academy,students can arrive at a local airport or train station in Linyi city where a member of our team will meet them. All students will receive the best care from our highly qualified staffs.
It is also convenient for students to travel to tourist attractions on weekends or holidays, such as the World Heritage city of Qufu with Confucius Family Mansion,Confucius Temple and Confucius Cemetry, the cultural city of Beijing with the Great Wall and Forbidden City, the historic city of Xi’an with Terracotta Warriors and Emperor Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum, Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng and the modernized city of Shanghai.
